This weekend was one of the big events of Roswell. Party on the River consists of hot air balloons, muscle cars, greasy food, cheap purses, and a major country artist/band. I'm warning you now, I took a lot of photos from the balloon rally and the Gloriana concert (mostly because they're kind of one of my favorite bands!) Soooooo, Saturday morning, I got up to go to the balloon fest because the company I work for, Southwest Printers, sponsored a balloon. Spiderman actually. The coolest balloon out there if I do say so! :D I rode last year, so this year Xanthia, Tyler, Michael, and Ethan got to go.

Let me tell you, if you've never ridden in a hot air balloon before, put it on your bucket list! It is definately worth it!

Anyways, it was such a beautiful day for flight. Here are the shots from Saturday morning.

They flew for about 30 minutes then had to come down due to the wind. We all helped pack everything back up!

Later that afternoon, we decided to go walk around and check out the booths. But it was the concert that night that I was excited for! :D Gloriana has been one of my favorite bands since they first had a debut on an ABC family promo. Ryan, Jaime, and I saw them in El Paso a few months back and I was blown away. They sounded just like they do on their cds.

I made Xanthia come to the front of the stage with me, and even though she didn't want to stand there the whole concert, she did! :D Love that girl! Here are the shots from the concert. :D
