Have you ever wondered what things mean or if a sign is being sent your way? Recently, I've been seeing feathers everywhere and it got me thinking about a story my friend, Matt, told me. I remembered him saying they were a sign for hope. I emalled him about writing the story down so I could feature it on my blog, along with a few photos based around it.

I went to a seminar given by a friend a couple of years ago, at the Texas Bandmasters Association. The session was about Barbie Doll Band director. She was discussing her battle with breast cancer, and on the day she was diagnosed, she remembered a story her grandfather once told her. They were a feather family, and by that, he meant that any time they were in need, stressed, or worried, there would be a feather that would appear. The feather represented a feather from an angel, a reminder that everything was gonna be ok because God was watching over them and prayers were always with them. Now that I have heard that story, any time I am stressed, worried, down, angry, or plagued with doubt and negative energy, a feather would appear, and I would remember that God has a plan for me, and is always watching over me. -Matt Tolentino
